Three arrested for stealing, attempting to sell weapons

Posted: Updated:
GREENVILLE, N.C. - Three people, including a brother and a sister are behind bars.

They’re charged with stealing guns and then attempting to sell them to deputies.

Pitt County deputies say they responded to a report of a break in at a house on Highway 43 South on Friday. They say four guns as well as 1,000 rounds of ammunition were stolen.

Deputies arrested 23-year-old Alexis Blow, her brother Charlie Blow and 19-year-old Travonte Ruffin within hours of the break-in. They say they got a hold of the suspects by pretending to be interested in buying the guns.

All three are in the Pitt County Detention Center under a $250,000 bond.
