RIVERVIEW, FL - Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Deputies are looking for man who shot at another driver during an apparent road rage incident in Riverview on Thursday afternoon.

Deputies say a man was driving a Tahoe south on Highway 301 when a blue van pulled next to the him and attempted to run him off the road.

According to the driver of the Tahoe the two men exchanged words and continued driving on Highway 301 until they got near Rhodine Road where they both got out of their cars and got into a physical altercation.

The driver said after the altercation both men got in their vehicles and drove off.  He said when he stopped at a traffic light at Balm Riverview Road and Rhodine Road a white van was parked near the intersection. He says a man got out of the van and began walking towards him.

The driver of the Tahoe said he drove away and as he was driving away the man fired several shots, hitting his vehicle.

Deputies say no one was injured.

Detectives have interviewed the driver of the Tahoe and the blue van but are still looking for the man who was in the white van.

Authorities have not released the name of any of the men involved in the incident.

Thursday  was the second day in a row in which a road rage incident resulted in gunfire in the Bay Area. On Wednesday a man fired shots into car in a Tampa Home Depot parking lot after there was a dispute over a parking space.
