Tampa police are questioning two people in connection with shots fired at a Home Depot store on Dale Mabry Highway in Tampa Wednesday afternoon, police said. According to TPD, it was an argument over a parking spot that started it.

According to the TPD report, officers detained two people at the store at 1712 N. Dale Mabry Highway after they responded to the shots fired call.

Witnesses told News Channel 8, they heard a loud argument and saw two people getting in a pickup truck trying to drive away. They were chased by other people in a different car.

The pickup had to stop, the witnesses said. The people in the other car got out and started shooting. They missed the truck, and hit a parked car nearby. After that they got back in their car and tried to flee.

Police came and apprehended the people. Police said nobody was injured. According to police, the argument that started the shooting was about a parking spot. They are investigating the incident.
