Greenville fast food restaurant robbers sentenced to prison

RALEIGH, N.C. - Three men, convicted in connection with a string of fast food robberies in and around Greenville, now know how long they'll spend in prison.

Trevin Gibson, Michael Gibson, and DeShaun Spruill were sentenced on firearms charges from a string of robberies that spanned from September 2011 through January 2012.

Trevin Gibson is facing 45-years in prison, Michael Gibson is looking at 36 years, and Spruill" is facing 33 years behind bars.
    
The robberies happened at various Bojangles, KFC, Subway, Burger King, McDonalds and Popeye’s restaurants.

Four men accused of robbing numerous fast food restaurants in and around Greenville have pleaded guilty to their crimes.

Trevin Maurice Gibson of Greenville, Michael Rondale Gibson of Greenville, Prentise Javaughn Wilkins of Williamston and Deshaun Entrea Spruill of Robersonville each pleaded guilty to firearms charges resulting from the string of robberies that spanned September 2011 through January 2012.

The robberies happened at various Bojangles, KFC, Subway, Burger King, McDonalds and Popeyes restaurants.
 
Each of the four men entered their guilty pleas to two counts of using or carrying a firearm during and in relation to a crime of violence, or possessing a firearm in furtherance of a crime. Each of them faces a mandatory minimum sentence of thirty years without parole, and could be sentenced to up to life in prison. They’ll be sentenced the week of February 10, 2014.

Another defendant, Marcus Roshawn Garrett, has already entered a guilty plea and is scheduled to be sentenced next month.
