NC State student robbed by 7 males near Gorman Street

RALEIGH, N.C. -

A male student at North Carolina State University was robbed by 6-7 individuals Thursday evening while near E.S. King Village.

N.C. State campus police said the student was in the parking lot of E.S. King Village near the intersection of Gorman Street and Jackson Street just before 8 p.m. when he was approached by 6-7 black males.

One suspect was wearing a grey hoodie and the other suspects were wearing T-shirts, police said. The suspects took a cellphone and other personal items from the victim.

Campus police are looking for the suspects.
