TAMPA, FL (WFLA) -

A federal judge warned Cortnee Brantley on Wednesday that one more bond violation would send her to jail.

Brantley, who was convicted earlier this year on a charge that stemmed from the night two Tampa Police officers were killed, has been out on bond pending appeal.

Brantley has missed 19 appointments to check in with her probation officer, the judge said.

"Are you having a hard time following the rules?" Judge James Moody asked Brantley in court.

Brantley was convicted of a little-used charge called misprision of a felony, for concealing that her boyfriend Dontae Morris (scheduled to go on trial for the murders of the two officers next month) was a felon in possession of a firearm.

Brantley's attorney told the judge Brantley's home went into foreclosure and is now owned by the bank, and that she has been dealing with other personal issues including her mother's cancer.

The prosecutor argued that Brantley should be detained instead of allowed to remain out on bond, saying Brantley "doesn't care" and that she had lied to her probation officer about being at work.
