Two people were shot and another was beaten with a pool cue Sunday afternoon at a Nash County Hispanic store.

Deputies with the Nash County Sheriff's Office responded to a shooting at the La Pasada Hispanic store on N.C. Highway 58 in Sandy Cross Sunday around 4:41 p.m.

Upon arriving at the store, deputies learned that two individuals had been shot multiple times and a third person had been beaten with a pool stick.

All three victims were transported to Nash General Hospital, where two victims were airlifted to Vidant Medical Center in Greenville. The victims are in stable condition.

Investigators believe the shootings stemmed from an argument over a pool game. As a result, deputies are searching for 25-year-old Gabriel Yanez and 46-year-old Bernabe Puebla Rodriguez, who are both charged with attempted first-degree murder.
