PENSACOLA, FL (WJHL) -
The former Chief Financial Officer of  Mountain States Health Alliance died over the weekend in what Authorities are calling a swimming accident.  

Florida Fish and Wildlife Officials confirmed to News Channel 11, that they found the  body of Kerry Vermillion Sunday afternoon in Pensacola.

Authorities say Vermillion was one of several people on a 26-foot boat that went out onto Santa Rosa Sound Friday afternoon.  

Vermillion reportedly dove into the water and never re-surfaced.

Vermillion was working as the CFO of Baptist Health Care in Pensacola.
