We all saw who put on the green jacket as this year's Masters Tournament winner. That was former Georgia Bulldog Bubba Watson. What you might not have noticed was the SEC golfer from right up the road that took home some impressive hardware of his own.

Knoxville, Tn -

Boy, what a difference a year makes for Tennessee Volunteer kicker Michael Palardy.
This time last season Palardy was being replaced by a "frat house" kicker who was rushed to the stadium by a police escort to save the day against Middle Tennessee State University.

On Saturday Palardy went from goat a year ago to hero when he connected on a 19-yard field goal as time expired to give unranked Tennessee a 23-21 victory over No. 11 South Carolina.
The victory put to an end the Vols 19-game losing streak against ranked opponents.
Palardy gave all the credit to his new head coach Butch Jones who's been in his corner since day one

Palardy also handles kick-offs and punts for the Vols.
