The Wake County Sheriff's Office seized 51 pounds of meth worth more than $6 million during a traffic stop Friday morning on Interstate 40.
Deputies stopped a black 2008 Honda Civic shortly before 12:15 a.m. on I-40 near the Harrison Ave. exit for speeding.
Authorities reported the female driver was driving without a license. Two passengers were also in the car, another female and a male.
A canine team was called out to the scene and deputies discovered the methamphetamine in 16 separate packages.
All three people inside the vehicle, Moise Orduno, Amall Judeth Murillo, and Sandra Danissa Hernandez Crisostomo, were arrested on felony drug charges.
