Amber Alert issued for 7-year-old Fort Myers girl

FORT MYERS, FL (WFLA) -

An Amber Alert has been issued by the Florida Department of Law Enforcement for 7-year-old, Crystal Riemer.

Police say Riemer was last seen in the 4100 block of Ford St. in Fort Myers.

Detectives say Riemer might be with 46-year-old Christine Riemer.

Officials are concerned because Crystal Riemer is a special needs child who needs her medicine.

Detectives say Crystal Riemer is described as a white female, 3'6"; she is 31 pounds and has blonde hair and blue eyes. They say she was last seen wearing green pants with blue trim and a blue shirt. They say Christine Riemer is 5'5", 180 pounds and has blonde hair and blue eyes.

Police believe the pair maybe traveling in a 2007, white GMC Budget rental truck, with Budget stickers on the sides of the truck. They say the truck has an Oklahoma tag number 2LN073.

Officers say the pair was last seen traveling northbound on Interstate 75 in Sarasota County at approximately 6 p.m. on Tuesday and maybe heading to either Alabama or Wisconsin.

If anyone has any information about where they may be please call the Fort Myers Police Department or 911.
