My Hope Chest is a non-profit organization created by former Las Vegas showgirl Alisa Savoretti.

Alisa was also uninsured when she got her breast cancer diagnosis.

She saved the money for reconstruction. Her experience inspired her to create My Hope Chest out of her Pinellas County home. She began raising money to fund breast cancer reconstruction for uninsured survivors.

The charity will launch the signature event at Whiskey Joes in Tampa on Wednesday, October 16th in Tampa Bay AND this year, they will be adding a "virtual" online fundraising component allowing friends and family the opportunity to meet fundraising goals set by each Butterfly Team!
"Hope Floats on BRA Day" will raise money for My Hope Chest, an important non-profit organization focusing on the need of breast reconstruction for uninsured and under insured women and educate them on their breast reconstruction options. By enabling women who desire reconstruction to have it, My Hope Chest's goal is to return these deserving women to a normal life with feelings of hope, self-worth and completeness. Why: "Hope Floats on BRA DAY" is a result of, and in conjunction with,, designated by the American Society of Plastic Surgeons ASPS about education of breast reconstruction options from the point of diagnosis. "Formerly lost in a sea of pink...My Hope Chest's day of awareness at last!" says founder Alisa Savoretti. "October is breast cancer ACTION month and we are so excited to have the ASPS voice in support of this day."
Price: Determined by individual events. With a $25 donation, attendees can order "Butterfly Team" shirts and additional items to raise donations aid in fundraising efforts
