DURHAM, N.C. -

Durham police arrested four men on armed robbery and drug trafficking charges Tuesday following an armed robbery on North Roxboro Road, authorities said.

Officers were dispatched at 9:45 a.m. Tuesday to an armed robbery call behind Upchurch Drugs in the 5100 block of North Roxboro Road. A deliveryman told officers three males wearing ski masks robbed him at gunpoint and then fled in a vehicle driven by a fourth man, police said.

A witness gave officers a description of the vehicle and officers located the vehicle and four suspects approximately an hour later on Elmira Street.

Officers arrested Brandon Louis Dent, 20; Emmanuel Wesley McGilberry, 24; Shawn Hunter, 21; and Damonte Lydell Turner, 21, all of Durham. Investigators charged all four men with robbery with a dangerous weapon, second-degree kidnapping, felony conspiracy, six counts of possession of controlled substances with the intent to manufacture, sell or deliver and five counts of trafficking in Schedule 1 controlled substances.

All four men were placed in Durham County Jail under $3.5 million bonds.
