TAMPA, FL (WFLA) - Union representatives say they will look into Josh Freeman's medical records going public.

Tuesday the NFL Players Association Executive Director DeMaurice Smith was at One Buc Place. It was part of a planned meeting but also the day after the story about Freeman's medication went public.

Freeman admits he voluntarily entered the NFL's substance abuse program more than a year ago after accidentally taking Ritalin instead of Adderall for ADHD. Coach Greg Schiano insists he had nothing to do with the leak. Smith says the union will do what it needs to protect Freeman.
