BRISTOL, VA (WJHL) -

A local pharmacy is offering a reward in the arrest of the man who robbed them Sunday morning.

Bristol, Virginia detectives say this man walked into the Rite Aid off Commonwealth Avenue and Euclid Avenue around 10 A.M. Witnesses tell investigators that the man handed a note demanding narcotics. The note said he was armed and people would get hurt if he did not get the drugs.

The employees complied with his demands and he left toward the car wash next door with an undisclosed amount of pills.

He's described as a white male, with a thick mustache and dark hair. He was wearing a tan baseball hat, a gray and black hoodie, blue jeans and black tennis shoes.

Detectives said in this case the employees did the right thing.

"They complied for the fear that someone would get hurt. He didn't present a weapon, but he did indicate that he had one," said Detective Angela Simpson.

Rite Aid is offering a $2,500 reward to anyone that gives information about this suspect that leads to an arrest. If you do have information you're asked to call the Bristol, Virginia Police Department at (276) 645-7400.
