LG Electronics ad plays prank on job applicants

Posted: Updated:

To promote their latest Ultra HD TV, LG Electronics in Chile decided to create a video that to promote just how life-life it can be.

The company posted video of them setting up a fake office and installing one of the company's new 82-inch Ultra HD televisions into a hole in the wall. They created it so their screen would look like a window.

The video shows several men and woman being interviewed for a job, showing their reaction to what occurs in the fake window.

The screen is displaying a picture of a skyline. A meteor can be seen flying on the screen during the interview. The lights in the office even go out after the fake meteor causes an explosion.

When the lights come back on in the office, representatives from LG spill the beans on the prank.

Since the video was posted online on Monday, it has received more than 2.1 million views.
