Waterspout damages St. Pete marina

ST PETERSBURG, FL (WFLA) -

A reported waterspout near downtown St. Petersburg around noon on Friday damaged a marina and several boats.

According to St. Petersburg Police Lt. Joel Granata, the waterspout damaged about 60 feet of metal roofing at Maximo Marina on 37th Street South.

Granata said the metal sheets fell on four boats.  Two decks were also damaged.

No injuries were reported.
