Hazmat crews respond to Seminole crash

PINELLAS COUNTY, FL -

Hazmat crews responded to a rollover crash in Seminole, to prevent diesel fuel from getting into a nearby lake.

It happened around 11:30 a.m. at the intersection of Park Boulevard and Lake Seminole Park.  A truck overturned in the eastbound lanes of Park Boulevard.  At least one person was taken to Bayfront Medical Center.

Seminole Fire Rescue officials say up to 40 gallons of diesel fuel spilled onto the roadway. 

Traffic is completely blocked in the eastbound lane of Park Boulevard.  Motorists are advised to avoid the location.
