Daytime Early Cancer Signs For Men

Daytime's resident doc and Bradenton Cardiology Center's Dr. Srini Iyengar has some tips on possible early signs of four different types of cancer in men:

 

Pancreatic cancer can develop in the glandular cells of the pancreas; the ducts tend to be the most susceptible area.

 

Warning-bell checklist for pancreatic cancer

  • Upper abdominal pain that radiates toward your back
  • Jaundice
  • Fat in stool or pale-colored stool
  • Dark urine
  • Weight loss
  • Nausea

 

Esophageal Cancer for example presents itself early on with symptoms similar to heartburn.

Lung cancer can also have some subtle symptoms. And believe it or not 15% of lung cancer diagnoses in this country are for patients who have NEVER picked up a cigarette.

  • A cough that does not go away
  • Pain or Aching in Your Shoulder, Back, Chest, or Arm

 

Prostate Cancer is also not very obvious in its symptoms.
