It's been one year since helicopter pilot Bill Starnes was tragically killed in a helicopter crash on South Holston Lake in Washington County, VA.

Starnes was flying the Food City helicopter, and had just dropped off passengers at a home from Bristol Motor Speedway. When Starnes took off again, he crashed a short time later

News Channel 11's Lauren Haviland sat down with friends of Starnes Saturday, who continue to mourn his loss as the investigation into the crash continues.
