Fayetteville man charged with kidnapping, statutory rape

FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. -

Detectives filed additional sex charges against a Fayetteville man who has been held in the Cumberland County jail since 2012.

Kirk Kadeem, 22, was arrested in 2012 on multiple charges of kidnapping a 14-year-old girl and selling her into sexual servitude.

Investigators said the victim was paid money and narcotics for her services.

Kadeem now faces five counts of statutory rape and one count of second-degree kidnapping involving a separate case.

The victim in the second case was also 14 years old at the time.

Kadeem is being held under a $2 million bond.
