CLEARWATER, FL (WFLA) -

Clearwater Police are looking for a couple they say used a young child to help them in a pair of crimes.

On Sunday evening, the two adults and a boy, estimated to be 10 years old, were seen stealing items from the Ron Jon Surf Shop on Mandalay Blvd.  Video also captured the juvenile entering a nearby Hooters and taking purses from a back room.

Investigators say someone later tried to use one of the victims' debit cards at the Target on Gulf-to-Bay Boulevard about 6:30 p.m.

The older male suspect is 30 to 35 years old.  He has a shaved head, and was last seen wearing gray shorts and a black Ron Jon t-shirt, which police say he stole.

The female suspect is 30 to 35 years old as well.  She has brown hair, and was last seen wearing a bright green shirt and gray or brown capris.

The male juvenile is estimated to be about 10 years old. He was last seen wearing a black t-shirt and gray shorts.

The trio had a baby stroller with them at the time of the incidents. The suspects are seen on video stashing items taken from Ron Jon in the stroller. The two adults are also seen directing the boy to bring the purses to them at Hooters and then hide them into the stroller.

Anyone with information on this case is asked to call Clearwater Police at (727) 562-4242.
