WCPSS offers new transportation website for parents, students

Posted: Updated:
CARY, N.C. -

Wake County parents can access a new transportation website as a one-stop resource for bus routes, frequently asked question and customer service.

Brochures are being mailed to students and parents this week alerting them to visit the new online resource.

Parents are encouraged to go online to locate their child's bus route and stop before school begins on Aug. 26.

Old bus routes used in previous years are outdated, and bus schedules are no longer being mailed to homes.

School officials also asked that parents and students be patient during the first couple of weeks of school as bus routes stabilize.

Last school year, many Wake County parents became frustrated over mix-ups with bus routes and pick-up times.
