NC authorizes seize almost 15,000 bags of heroin

WILMINGTON, N.C. -

Sheriff's deputies in New Hanover County say they have made 1 of their biggest heroin seizures.

Detectives seized almost 15,000 bags of heroin valued at $500,000 following a six-month investigation.

Cpl. Jason Augst says two men have been charged with trafficking heroin and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Detectives arrested 34-year-old Samuel Bernard Williams and 36-year-old Kevin Che Robinson. Each is in jail on $3 million bond. It was not immediately clear if they had attorneys.
