Kittens rescued from Sarasota McDonald's drive-thru

Posted: Updated:

Rescuers are looking for homes for three kittens found at a McDonald's drive-through in Sarasota.

Officials with Cat Depot responded a few weeks ago when employees at the McDonald's at Cattlemen and Bee Ridge Road found the three kittens outside.

Employees named the "to go kittens" McNugget, Small Fry, and Big Mac.  Cat Depot placed the kittens with a foster parent.  Now, McNugget, Small Fry and Big Mac are available for adoption.

To help find forever homes for the kittens, Cat Depot has created flyers with photos of the littermates.  McDonald's will include a flyer on every tray and in every take-out bag on Saturday, August 17, at the Cattlemen Road location.

Cat Depot is located at 2542 17th Street, Sarasota, Fla.  For more information about the kittens, call (941) 366-2404.
