Rays offer discounts, specials on tix for rest of season

ST PETERSBURG, FL -

The Tampa Bay Rays offered discounts and special pricing on game tickets from now till the end of the season, the team officials announced Wednesday.

Officials said they will put 1,000 tickets for every remaining home game online at raysbaseball.com for $9.53 a seat.

The Tampa Bay Times also offered "buy two get two free" tickets for the outfield seats beginning with the Rays-Mariners game on Aug. 13.

"All of us at the Rays have been excited by the way the team has performed and the way our fans have responded," said Rays President Matt Silverman. "This second half push is designed to get all Rays fans out to the ballpark..."

Also coming next week is the team's $2 Kids Night at the Trop. Buying a full-price ticket online lets you get up to three kids' tickets for $2 each in select locations. Ages 2 to 14 are considered kids. Cars with four people will park for free.

Till the end of the season, if you buy four or more tickets online you get 10 percent discount. For more details and to get the tickets, check out the rays website raysbaseball.com
