HAWKINS COUNTY, TN (WJHL) -

UPDATE 8/7

Hawkins County Sheriff Ronnie Lawson tells News Channel 11 he needs the public's help to learn more about a woman's apparent murder.

Sheriff Lawson says Regilla Ann Stacy Dye suffered blunt force trauma to her head. According to Lawson, her injuries were so bad, investigators couldn't tell if someone shot her or not.

A spokesperson from the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation says it appears someone burglarized the home where they found Dye's body. According to the TBI spokesperson, an autopsy will determine Dye's cause of death.

Sheriff Lawson wants anyone with information about this case to call the Hawkins County Sheriff's Department.
