RIVERVIEW, FL -

Hillsborough County detectives arrest Garrett Jay Boone of 10426 Hunters Haven Blvd. Riverview, FL in connection to a shooting that's left a Riverview man dead. A second suspect is still on the loose.

Richard Russell, 19, of Soaring Eagle Drive was suppose to meet someone in the area of Early Run Lane and Ravens Nest on Saturday night.

When he arrived at that location with a friend, two suspects jumped out of the bushes and shot him as he sat in the passenger side of his friends car.

Authorities say their preliminary information is that this was supposed to be a drug related transaction.

The driver fled the scene and drove to a park where he located a deputy who called for an ambulance.

The only description of the suspects are two black males wearing masks.

Anyone with information is asked to call the Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office at 247-8000.
