  1. The Boone Police Department more released details Monday afternoon after the weekend discovery of a missing Appalachian State University student's body.

A fugitive from justice is behind bars tonight after being arrested at a home in Johnson City.

The Johnson City Police Department arrested 34 year old Rusty L. Anderson Sunday afternoon.

Police received a call of two men fighting in the yard of a home on the 100 block of West Holston Avenue.

When police arrived, they located both subjects and questioned them. A brief investigation showed that Anderson had an active warrant for parole violation of Louisiana.

His original charges were multiple DUI convictions and he's being held without bond. Louisiana authorities will extradite Anderson
