No bond for Tampa ex-pro wrestler charged with stabbing

TAMPA, FL (WFLA) -

A judge denied bond for former professional wrestler Brian McGhee Friday.  Deputies arrested McGhee Wednesday night in Pasco County after he led them on a high speed chase.  They charged him with first degree murder in the fatal stabbing death of his ex-girlfriend, Bianca McGaughey.  She was found dead earlier that evening at the Del Lago Apartments.

"Just looking at her car and knowing she's not up there, it's just a crazy feeling," said McGaughey's friend and neighbor Jonathan Miller.  "She was just too good.  Like one of the good, good, good ones.  Too, too, too good for this."

Miller said about 30 neighbors came to a vigil for McGaughey Thursday night outside her apartment.  Around the same time, deputies booked McGhee into the Hillsborough County Jail.

In court Friday morning, Judge Walter Heinrich said McGhee confessed the murder to his sister.

"You admitted to her that you had just killed this lady and that you were now going to try to harm yourself," Judge Heinrich told McGhee. 

The judge said he also told investigators he felt suicidal when he went to McGaughey's apartment.

"You said something about you remember driving over to her residence to tell her goodbye because you were going to kill yourself and that you don't remember much after that."

Before deputies arrested McGhee, he allegedly changed his Facebook profile picture to a graphic image of a bloody arm.  McGhee had a bandage wrapped around one of his arms during his first appearance hearing Friday morning.

McGhee worked for World Wrestling Entertainment from 2010 to 2012 under the stage name "The Future Donovan Ruddick".  He now works at an online screen printing company and is a bouncer at several Ybor City clubs.
