Chad Ward, Whiskey Bent BBQ Pitmaster from Lakeland, Florida competed on the Food Network's "Chopped Grill masters". He's also a champion barbeque pit master. He comes to Daytime to show us an unconventional way to grill a steak on either a gas or charcoal bbq.
First you set up two heat zones on the grill. Low and High. Then take a good cut of steak, preferably rib eye steak, season it to your liking first. Then grill the steak for 12 minutes on ONE side in the low heat zone.
Then, flip it and grill it for ONE minute on the high heat zone. Enjoy!
