PASCO COUNTY, FL (WFLA) -

Pasco Sheriff's deputies say two men carrying a fake gun burst into a Land O'Lakes home Friday night, only to find themselves facing someone with a real gun.

Investigators say the two men went into a cottage in the 4400 block of Land O'Lakes Boulevard in an attempted home invasion/robbery.

One of the visitors inside was armed, deputies say, and opened fire, hitting both men.  They ran away and collapsed on the sidewalk.

Both men are reportedly in serious condition from multiple gunshot wounds.

Five people were in the cottage at the time, including a 2-year-old child.

Neighbors told News Channel 8's Peter Bernard that the home has a reputation for drug activity.

No one in the home was injured.

A sudden lurch in a creeping landslide in the northwest Wyoming resort town of Jackson split a house in two and forced workers to abandon efforts to stabilize the hillside.
No one can say when the mountainside collapsing into this Wyoming resort town will give way. But it appears increasingly likely that when it does, it's going to take a piece of Jackson with it.
