    Federal court documents reveal in the past, the owner of an adult novelty store on State Street in Bristol, Va. was selling more than just lingerie, pornography and synthetic drugs. Instead, pictures filed at the federal courthouse in Greeneville earlier this month show waist-high holes in private rooms inside Exotic Illusions.

KINGSPORT, TN (WJHL) -

Fun Fest is underway in Kingsport, Tennessee.

Beautiful weather drew big crowds to Mardis Gras celebrations and the Fun Fest Parade, an event that had as many people in the parades as were watching the parade from along the route.

The festival continues Saturday with a day full of events including a softball tournament, scavenger hunt, and art show.

The region's biggest summer festival begins Friday in Kingsport.

Fun Fest 2013 kicks off with the traditional Mardis Gras celebration at 11:30 a.m. on Broad Street.   The party continues until 5:30 p.m.

"Hot Fun in the Summer Time" is the these for the 32nd event.

At 6:30 p.m., the Fun Fest parade will roll down Center Street, turn onto Sullivan Street, continue to  Church Circle and end at Sullivan and Clinchfield Streets.

Later next week, Fun Fest concerts will be held at J. Fred Stadium.
  • Thursday - Chris Tomlin and Big Daddy Weave
  • Friday - Hunter Hayes, The Henningsens and Ella Mae Bowen
  • Saturday - Chicago and Gavin DeGraw

The first Fun Fest was held in 1981 as an event to encourage community unity.   Every year since, the festival has attracted thousands of people to Kingsport for a variety of events.

This year's festival concludes July 20th with a concert and fireworks.
