TAMPA, FL (WFLA) -

A car drove into a bedroom wall at the Puritan Place Apartment complex in Tampa Thursday morning, Hillsborough County deputies told us.

According to the HCSO report, someone driving a Lexus, reported stolen, jumped a curb, went through a fence and hit the wall around 1 a.m. in East Tampa.

Deputies told us, the driver climbed out of the car, ripped off its license plate and left the apartment through the back door.

Deputies are looking for the driver. The two little girls whose bedroom had been damaged, were in another part of the home and didn't get hurt.
