Tennessee's oldest town is preparing for a party this weekend, as the 43rd annual Jonesborough Days kicks-off this Friday.
The three day festival is a Fourth of July tradition.
Each year craft and food vendors set up along Main street, and there are several stages where all types of music and storytelling will take place.
Each year, organizers try to offer something new to the Jonesborough Days line-up.
According to Melinda Copp with the Town of Jonesborough, "One new thing we've added is the People's Choice Art Walk....and we have art walk already displayed in 22 of the stores downtown and you can kind of stroll around...you can get a ballot either at the storytelling center or at any of the stores...and go around and see where all the art work is located vote on your top three choices and then we'll announce the winner on Sunday."
