Caught on tape: gun-waving man robs Kingsport store

KINGSPORT, TN (WJHL) -

 

Kingsport Police are trying the man who robbed a business Sunday afternoon.

Surveillance video shoes a man waving a gun as he stormed in the front door of Dollar General on Memorial Boulevard about 4 p.m. Sunday.

About an earlier, surveillance video shows the same man walking by the store's front door.

"He's a white male, said Ptl. Tom Patton, Kingsport Police.  "At the time he was wearing an olive green shirt, camouflage pants, a black ski mask and black ball cap.  And he was armed with a large frame blue steel or black semi-automatic pistol."
