David joined WRBL News 3 team in May of 2013 after graduating from the University of Georgia.

During his time at UGA, he worked as a Multimedia Journalist at Grady NewSource, the student-produced news source for Northeast Georgia. Several of his stories were nominated to represent the University of Georgia at the Hearst Journalism Awards.

His other experiences while in school include a summer internship in Houston with Fox Sports, covering the Georgia Bulldogs as a reporter and producer for the Georgia Bulldog Sports Network with IMG, and serving as a show director for Grady Newsource. He was also on staff at his local church, a Dean's List recipient and received the Leroy Powell Broadcast Scholarship.
