RIVERVIEW, FL -

Men in Riverview wrapped up a dispute at the convenience store parking lot with a gun Thursday morning, Hillsborough County Sheriff's deputies told us.

According to HCSO report, Michael Sheppard, 40, and George Nelson, 51, argued at the parking lot of the Prime Time Food Mart on Balm Riverview Road around 1:20 a.m.

Nelson grabbed a gun from his car and fired shots through Sheppard's car windshield striking him in the shoulder when the man had got into his vehicle, deputies said.

Both men drove off. Somebody called 911 from the convenience store to report the shooting. Deputies caught up with Sheppard at his home on Lover's Lane. Paramedics rushed him to Tampa General Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

HCSO deputies arrested Nelson at his home a few hours ago after somebody called them and turned Nelson in, HCSO public information officer told us. Deputies investigate into what had started the fight.
