Carrollwood man leads deputies on chase before arrest

TAMPA, FL (WFLA) -

A Carrollwood man flees on foot when Hillsborough County Sheriff's deputies attempt to serve him with two outstanding warrants.  

Sheriff officials report that at approximately 1:25 p.m. Saturday, deputies arrived at the home of 41-year-old James G. Lamderton at 210475 Carrollbrook Circle, apt. 219 in Tampa.  When Lamderton realized he was going to be picked up, he ran away from deputies on foot and hid in an unoccupied home at 10610 Ilex Street.  Lamberton, who was wanted on two outstanding warrents (Aggraved Assault Domestic Violence and Battery), was apprehended by several deputies as well as a K-9 unit. 

Officials say the K-9 located Lamberton hiding in a bathroom of the empty home.  Lamderton was transported to Orient Road Jail on the following charges.

Aggravated Assault Domestic Violence (warrant) Battery (warrant)

2 counts of resist without violence

Burglary of a Residence
