Free job fair Tuesday at Embassy Suites USF

TAMPA, FL (WFLA) -

Over 30 companies will be participating in a free job fair to be held on Tuesday, June 11th at the Embassy Suites located on the USF Campus at 3705 Spectrum Boulevard in Tampa.  The job fair will take place from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. and is open to all job seekers. 

Opportunities represented at the job fair will range from entry-level to management to part-time and are in a wide variety of industries, including sales and marketing, hospitality, healthcare, retail, engineering, accounting, finance, education, technology, insurance, administration, transportation, manufacturing and more.  The job fair will also have Ultimate Staffing in attendance offering free resume reviews for all job seekers

Some of the companies in attendance will be HSN, Conifer Health, GTE Financial, Loews Don CeSar Hotel, Macy's Inc., Macy's Credit and Customer Services, DataComm, Belcan Technologies, MasTec Advanced Technology, USAA, Allstate, TZ Insurance, Panda Express, Kane's Furniture, One Blood, One Touch Direct, Alorica, Asset Acceptance, IADT, LaSalle Computers, AFLAC, Amerilife, WTTA My TV Tampa Bay, Education Dynamics, Ultimate Medical Academy, Accounting Principals, Massey Services, Courtesy Auto Group and many others.

  • Bring 30 copies of your resume (yes you need to have a resume)
  • Dress for a Job Interview – many of the companies will interview and even hire on the spot so you want to make a good first impression!
  • Pick out 5-10 companies from the list below that you are interested in working for and visit their website to apply online. If you receive a confirmation code or a print out of the application – bring it with you to show the company that you are really interested in employment!
  • Ask the Hiring Manager at each booth for a business card with their contact information on it so you can follow up with them.
