Chapel Hill Police investigate Sunday afternoon shooting

The Chapel Hill Police Department is seeking information related to an incident involving the discharge of a firearm into an unoccupied dwelling on Sunday. 

On Sunday, an unknown suspect fired a single bullet into a residence on Walnut Street in Chapel Hill.  The incident happened sometime between 5 p.m. and 7:26 p.m.  The residence was unoccupied at the time that the bullet was fired and no one was injured.
