HCSO: Man entered store, grabbed polo shirts, and ran out the door

BRANDON FL (WFLA) -

The Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office is looking for a man who made off with merchandise from a local department store.

Authorities say that on Monday, April 8, at 5:38 p.m., Amman entered the Macy's department store located at the Westfield Shopping Mall in Brandon, and proceeded directly towards a table of Ralph Lauren polo shirts.According to authorities, the man grabbed a stack of 10 light blue polo shirts,valued at $750.00, and left the store without playing.

Authorities describe the suspect as a black male between the ages of 18-21, 6'0"-6'2" tall, 180 lbs., with a dark complexion, and short black hair. He was last seen wearing a black t-shirt with a white design,white long gym shorts, and athletic high-top shoes.

Anyone with any information reference the suspect is asked to call the Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office at 247-8200 or anyone with any information regarding the identity and whereabouts of this suspect and who wants to be eligible for a cash reward is asked to call Crime Stoppers at1-800-873-TIPS (8477), report anonymously online at www.crimestopperstb.com or text"CSTB plus your tip" to C-R-I-M-E-S (274637).
