Tampa Police investigating robberies in New Tampa

TAMPA, FL (WFLA) -

Tampa Police detectives report they are investigating of a series of similar residential burglaries in the New Tampa area.   Detectives say that since November 2012, 10 burglaries have been reported in the area.  In each case, detectives say, the unknown suspect(s) entered through a rear, sliding glass door and removed thousands of dollars worth of jewelry.  In one case, two firearms were also stolen.
