Daytime Drill Team Performs

The Admiral Farragut Academy Exhibition Drill Team has performed extensively both nationally and locally. Today the visit Daytime to perform and teach Jerry and Cyndi.

The Drill Team was invited by the United States Navy to perform at the Change of Command Ceremony for the guided missile destroyer USS Farragut at Naval Station Mayport. They have performed at Mardi Gras in Mobile, Alabama, and at the USS Alabama. The team has performed with theUnited States Navy Band and with the United States Coast Guard Silent Drill Team.

The team was invited by Congressman Bill Young to serve as Honor Guard for the welcoming ceremony for the USS Independence and the USNS Spearhead on their visits to the Port of St. Petersburg.

The Drill Team has performed and served as an Honor Guard at numerous civic and community events and numerous Veterans Day Ceremonies – including serving as Honor Guard for the Veterans Airlift Command Wounded Warriors Project and performing at the Veterans Day Ceremony at the world famous Dali Museum.

The Drill Team has won the prestigious Inter-Service County Exhibition Drill Team Championship – and our female team won the Inter-Service County Female Exhibition Drill Team Championship.

The cadets on the Admiral Farragut Academy Exhibition Drill Team represent  6 nationalities. Commanding the team is Cadet LT Nick Guarcello.

 The Drill Instructor and Coach of the team is Steve Edwards. Steve is a former Drill Captain of the Six Time National Champion Purdue Drill Team.
