Tornado watch dropped for some counties

TAMPA, FL (WFLA) -
A tornado watch has been dropped for Hillsborough, Hernando, and Pasco counties, including the cities of Tampa and New Port Richey.
 
The biggest severe weather threat in the next few hours will be from potentially damaging straight-line wind gusts over 60 mph, as a line of storms races in from the Gulf around 11pm.  Expect heavy rain, occasional lightning and even some hail.
 
Potential impacts include limbs down on powerlines, causing electricity service interruptions.
