St Pete woman wins $500K Lotto scratch-off

ST PETERSBURG -

A St Petersburg woman claimed the fifth top prize in the Monopoly Scratch-off lottery game.

The Florida Lottery officials confirmed Monday that Renata Ibrisevic, 30, of St. Petersburg, claimed the prize of $500,000.  She bought her lucky ticket at Mansour Shell on Westshore Boulevard in Tampa.

The Monopoly scratch-offs costs as little as $5, the game featuring more than $71 million in total prizes.

There are five top prizes of $500,000 and only one remains, according to the lottery officials. They told us, scratch-offs make up about 58% of ticket sales and bring more than $495 million in revenue. The scratch-off money goes toward the Educational Enhancement Trust Fund.
