2 dogs killed in Tampa house fire

Posted: Updated:

A house fire killed two dogs in Tampa this afternoon.

Fire Rescue crews arrived at 3003 Osborne Avenue West at around 12:34 PM.  The occupant of the home was out before firefighters arrived.  Fire crews found the flames were contained to a single room, and quickly put them out.

No people were injured, but fire officials say two pit bulls died.  The cause of the fire was determined to be an electrical malfunction in the bedroom.
