The Pasco Sheriff's Office arrested 16-year-old Kiyondre Redfield of Zephyrhills for one count of attempted murder and carrying a concealed weapon. Redfield was with two other men when they approached the victim, 22-year-old David Hernandez of Dade City. While behind a Dade City residence, Redfield shot at Hernandez multiple times striking the him in the abdomen, buttocks and left leg. The shooting took place around 10:30 p.m on Saturday.
Hernandez's injuries are not considered to be life threatening. The Redfield was arrested and taken to the Juvenile Assessment Center. He will be taken to the Juvenile Detention Center after his first court appearance.
