Pinellas Park Fire Department responded to an accident involving a black sports car in front of the Fantasy Beauty Supply shop around 11am Thursday.
Firefighters say the black sports car flipped on its side in front of Fantasy Beauty Supply at the corner of 49th Street North and 70th Avenue in Pinellas Park.
Pinellas Park Firefighters were able to quickly remove the male patient from the vehicle and transport him to a local hospital with non-life threatening injuries, according to fire officials. They also say the building sustained damage to the front window area of the beauty shop.
This is the same building that a few years ago suffered significant structural damage when a semi truck ran into the same area of the building, according to the fire department's report.
