New water restrictions go into effect in Clearwater Wednesday

CLEARWATER, FL -

To comply with the county-wide watering restrictions, Clearwater city officials announced new rules of water use that will go into effect Wednesday March 13.

Starting Wednesday the city water supply customers can water their lawns once a week before 8 a.m. or after 6 p.m. Clearwater restaurants will have to serve water only upon request to their patrons, city officials told us.

Fundraising car washes are off limits for the city effective March 13. Residents can wash their cars only once a week on the watering days, according to the city records.
